I found this cooling pad to be very quiet and it dramatically reduced heat from my laptop. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet and effective cooling pad for their laptop.

5 Stars The Perfect Laptop Cooler.
I have bought over 30 products on amazon and not once have I felt I had to write a review though all my transaction have been pretty good. I was a tad bit worried about the power of the fan speed from people’s reviews on here but I also saw how a lot people loved it and it seemed to be the best one I could find overall.

I was hoping for comfort, sleek design, durability, and most importantly very efficient cooling. I have to say it has met all of my hopes and exceeded them. This cooling pad has a very comfortable design I hated setting my laptop on my lap though I feel that is where a laptop belongs. I have a hp laptop and I like playing games on it and everyone who has an hp can get pretty hot when you doing something intensive. Even on a table the thing gets hot when gaming you can forget about keeping it on your lap for long. The n100 fits in my lap perfectly its not to small and not big. Its actually smaller than I thought but has a great width size. The n100 keep my lap at a nice temperature the only warmth you will feel the normal feeling of have something in your lap. Its also a great looking piece of equipment but I don’t have to tell you that.

Now to keeping your laptop cool. The n100 has only one fan setting and it very lite on battery usage. Also its amazingly silently u wont know its on from sound. That’s what worried me but let me reassure it is the most efficient laptop pad I’ve have ever seen. The fan by itself doesn’t seem extremely powerful but it extremely effective with how the pad is built. The airflow on this pad is nothing short of amazing. You can tell logitech did their research while most pad try to get u to believe the more fans the more effective it will be. I guess you would need more fans if u didn’t set it up for the air to flow perfectly as the n100. My hp laptop which got very hot when playing games now barely even gets slightly warm at all. The airflow from the fan and the design of the pad keeps air flowing all over over my notebook.

When you combine comfort, sleek design, completely silent fan, extremely efficient cooling and airflow you have the perfect cooling pad. Thanks logitech for such well designed product.

2 Stars Pro’s and Con’s with little to brag about
I had high hopes that the Logitech Notebook Cooling Pad would cut down on the amount of time my Fujitsu 17″ laptop fan came on and off. It didn’t. I also had high hopes that the fact that it hooks up to the laptop through a usb port would have no negative effect on the performance of this older laptop, with 1GB of memory. Unfortunetely… it did.

The Pro’s:

- Nice design including color scheme and shape.

- Seems durable.

- Doesn’t need a spare power source; hooks up to laptop.

- Does improve airflow.

- Comfortable on your lap.

- Protects your laptop from excess heat build-up.

The Con’s:

- Uses system resources (power via usb port) and takes away from system memory.

- Large… which if you have a 17″ laptop it’s perfect, but with a smaller 15″ screen laptop, it would be too big.

- Makes noise, so if the fan on your laptop is already going, this doubles the fan noise you’re already experiencing.

- Takes away from the sleek design of your laptop.

- Adds weight and bulk, taking away from your portability and making it necessary to buy a bigger laptop case to carry essentially ‘two’ laptops.

If you purchased this to go under your laptop at home, and never really carry your laptop around… this is probably a good way to add airflow underneath your computer. If you want a highly portable cooling solution, look elsewhere.

4 Stars Very good and lightweight laptop cooler
I like this product, it works well, is very stylish, ergonomic, and lightweight. There is one large fan in the middle/back of the unit that is powered by usb that connects to your laptop. This is a very lightweight and simple unit that works well. It’s also very quiet. It cools the laptop effectively without any trouble. The usb cable winds up very neatly and clicks into place on the bottom on the unit so everything is very neat and tidy. Perfect for Mac users – the styling is very “Mac-ish”.

4 Stars It works all right!
I have two computers, one is a 12″, the other is an ASUS 10″ netbook. The pad worked very well on both of them. The built-in fans don’t go off all the time as it would have without the pad. I have tried it on a desk and on my lap, it sits comfortably without adding too much extra weight, it also helps insulate the heat. The only thing is that the pad is a little over-sized for my computers.

4 Stars Great lock for the price.
Granted, this is not the best lock out there. But among the “decent” quality ones is one of the cheapest. If you look at the pictures, there is a little metallic tool attached to the cable that is used to change the combination, so I disagree with other reviewers that say is easy to change the combination without noticing it. I do agree with the ones that say that you should first figure out how it works before locking your computer for the first time and this applies to every lock.

The self coiling cable is good for portability but if you lock your computer from a position where the cable might get on the way then you might find it a little bit inconvenient but not really a big deal (At work I lock my computer to the Keyboard tray under my desk so the cable comes from the front).

The numbers slide reasonably well, probably not as smooth as a bank safe but good enough for the price. The lock itself is made mostly of metallic parts so it does not have a cheap plastic feeling. There is also a black rubber part at the locking point that prevents the lock from scratching the computer.

Lastly if you have doubts about compatibility, this will work with any device that supports the T-bar lock mechanism also known as security slot found in 99% of laptops, some LCD’s and other electronic devices.

1 Star The Combo-Lock…Not
I purchased this lock and quickly returned it. It “looks good on paper” but suffers from a poor design. The curly chain is too tight and is hard to work with. It is difficult to change the combination. Because of the lock’s design and difficult operation, I managed to set a wrong combination rendering it useless.

I wound up buying a PC Guardian Ezolution Ultra (thicker cable) which is much better. I think the standard model would suffice though.

although some reviews say it’s hard to use, I found it fair enough to use as the design and the combination are perfect for theft protection, the coil shape helps it to be stored in a small place
