Short version: this external drive was easy to install and works well so far with Vista. Important to note that the instructions are minimal, and this does not write to DVD’s. It does everything it promised to do, so I’m very pleased with it.

Pros— Small–Light Weight –Just Plug And Play. The picture is great on both my MSI Mini and my wife’s Acer Mini. Seems fairly well made . Should last for a long while ?? The only thing I would like to see , is a longer connection cord.

Hi, I had problems with both my PC’s dvd-drive, laptop and desktop. My desktop I had to get a new one put in, then on my vaio laptop I had trouple with the new dvd-Rom and instead of buying another(I lost the receipt) I bought this excellent external DVD-ROM! If my desk top driver messes up I can use this, or I can just plug it into my laptop if I need to. I didn’t have to “install’ with vista, just plug in and play. I may have to run the installation disk for my Windows 98 I believe.

I highly recommend all PC owners have a spare external DVD-ROM like this one. And for the price, around $45, this seemed to be my best option on Amazon. Works great and is very affordable!!

5 Stars Great little drive!
This is a great little CD burner/DVD watcher. It’s compact, installed quickly by itself (no driver needed, although it comes with one), and works great with my Asus EEE PC Netbook (XP). I installed Nero 7 essentials with it and it burned a CD perfectly the first time I tried it. Watching DVD’s works great too–very clear picture! I highly recommend this drive for someone looking for a small portable CD writer. Note: this drive does not burn DVD’s.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this drive works on my windows 2000 IBM pc my 7 year old inherited. Plug and Play, enough said!

I was dreading the installation, it was a breeze!

My only concern now is the durability in the hands of a 7 year old.

I will have to re-review in 6 months or so.

5 Stars Excellent cable for very little money!

I needed a long extension to properly position my wireless networking dongle and this cable fits the bill. I have found that Belkin cables are of high quality, at least by my standards. 10 ft. is more than I need really, but it is nice to have. Be advised this is not a USB 2.0 cable and many devices require one. ALSO, this is an extension, not a printer cable. Some devices will not work at all or will not perform properly with a 10ft.USB cable and Belkin gives you a small list of these devices on the packaging. The Amazon price is less than half what my local stores want for the same exact cable and I am happy with my purchase.

5 Stars Fulfills its Purpose…
I bought this product a few weeks ago to use for my keyboard. I considered getting a wireless keyboard, but soon realized that this is less expensive and will fulfill the same purpose. I’ve read some of the 1 star reviews where people complain about this being a USB 1.1 and all that. I’m not sure i found any misleading information under the prouct description. I use this extension cable to connect my keyboard to my XBOX 360, Laptop and PS3 all for convenience, and it works for all three systems. Can’t really knock the product after that….

1 Star Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder wouldn’t connect…
My Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder wouldn’t connect using this cable. I purchased a Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder along with this Belkin F3U134-10 USB Extension Cable. My computer (Dell running XP Pro) wouldn’t recognize the USB device (Flip Ultra) using this cable. The Flip connected immediately when plugged directly into the USB port.

Belkin is a reputable supplier but this cable got just 1 star for my application.

5 Stars Good cable for a lazy person
With this usb extension cable, I don’t have to climb all over the furniture to get at the usb port behind the tv. I know, I’m lazy but then again, “fill a need-make money”.
