5 Stars Awesome battery life!
I’m very happy with this battery I just bought. It was delivered very quickly and after replacing my old battery, I now get about 3 to 4 hours of battery life. The only caveat is that it is very bulky, but this has not been a big problem for me because I don’t mind having my computer sit on the table at a slight incline. I was initially worried that it would make my laptop unbalanced but it is perfectly stable despite the bulky battery. Definitely a great buy for people looking for improved battery life!

Product is reasonably priced, fits well into my laptop, and seems to hold its charge very well. I haven’t had it long enough to know how durable it is, but my guess is that this will not be an issue.
5 Stars Very useful, as advertised; a great value for those who need it
I needed a battery to make sure that I could get 6-8 hours out of my laptop if I had to — this battery does it. Period.
Depending on my power settings, this thing will last me for at least 6 hours, and I haven’t actually tested it beyond that. If you need long battery life, you have to know how to conserve power — dimming the screen, and so forth. I can’t understand some of the complaints I see here: It’s bulky — sure it’s bulky! The whole point is that you need a long-lasting mobile power source. If you’re looking at an “extended life” battery, you know what you’re getting into. You can’t get a battery that lasts 2x as long and is the same size, that’s not how batteries work. The bulk is actually a plus in my mind, the battery size lifts the bottom of the laptop up off the desk surface and allows better air-flow, so the top of the machine remains cooler.
The bottom line on this one is that it’s designed for those who need better than average performance from their battery. If you want small, go for the regular battery.

After living with the standard battery for a long time, I bought this battery and jumped from 15 minutes of batter life to 4.5 hours at least. Very cool! As mentioned before this battery tilts the laptop upwards which provides for better ventilation. Double cool!
3 Stars Long Lasting, but the Cost

Since my previous battery had become ineffective in holding a charge, I decided to purchase the battery through Amazon.com. HP’s catalogue costs were fine. It’s the shipping cost that penny pinchers like me in Hawaii
are concerned with.
I tryed out the battery and found that my machine was responding quicker and working better. The only other thing I was troubled with was the bulkiness of the battery. It fit in the slot but would not remain there if you moved around. That would make going to WIFI places a little difficult with your laptop.
Again penny pinchers like me are concerned about the cost so I looked back at the Amazon catalogue a week after purchasing it and it had gone down about ten dollars.
Economically the battery does all right even if it does not travel well.
